Other features not to miss.
- Every day from 1pm to 2pm there are Sanskrit Classes.
- Every general session is preceded by devotional songs by Vidhyadi Raja Gayaka Sangham.
- Every evening from 5-30 to 6-30 there are bhajans
- The grand finale of the convention comes with the Maha Sarva Iswarya Pooja conducted by Swami Poornamritananda Puri.
- This year’s Vidhadhi Raja Darsana Puraskar is to be conferred to Sr. R Ramachandran Nair on 10/2/2008 by the Maha Mandalam President.
Vidhyadi Raja Cultural Centre
A new wing of the Matha Maha Mandalam by name Vidhyadhi RajaCultural Centre is formally getting inaugurated on 6th February 2008 by Satguru Bodhinatha Velam Swamikal of Guru Sannidhanam at Quai Adheenam in Hawai, USA. The foundation stone of the cultural centre complex is being laid on 10/20/2008 by Sri. TKA Nair, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of India.
Vidyadhiraja Jyothi Prayanam
A Radha Ghosha Yathra (Chariot procession) which starts
at 7.30 am on 3rd Feb. 2007 from the Samadhi Mandapa of
‘Chatampi Swami Thiruvadikal’ (Panmana Mutt) with the Sacred flame lit from the Samadhi.
The procession will pass through various places and big receptions are accorded at
many spiritual centers like Ochira, Chettikulangara, Cherukole, Chengannoor,
Aranmula and Pullad. It reaches Cherukolpuzha at 10am on 4th of Feb.
Chhayachira Ghosha Yatra
A grant procession is arranged to start at 7.30 am on 4th of Feb., from the divine Sri
Vidyadhiraja Parma Bhattarashrama at Ezhumattoor. This procession will carry the portrait
of Chattampi Swamikal. This will be accorded colourful welcome at many
important places on the way. It reaches the venue of the Parishat at 10 in the morning.
Pathaka Ghosha Yatra (Flag Procession)
The Flag Procession starting at 8.30 on this 4th of Feb. from Ayroor Puthiyakavu Devi Temple
will have ceremonious receptions at many centers. It will join the other processions at Cherukol Puzha
In at 10am and will move towards the venue of the Hindu Matha Parishat.
